Penfield Beach is a 3.5 acre beachfront property that is a favorite for many Fairfielders. A great place to swim and sun along the Long Island Sound, it offers a long stretch of sandy beach. Dogs are permitted to enter Penfield beach only during the period from October 1 to March 31. At all other times dogs are forbidden to enter the beach, including the parking areas for such beach. When permitted to be on Penfield beach, dogs must be leashed at all times.
