Everything was old and dirty. Walls were stained, furniture was old, bathroom floor was tile but looked like a dirt floor. Elevator doors opened before elevators came to a complete stop. Vending machines all broken. Drug addicts everywhere. Doors and keycards don’t work well. Cleaning staff woke me up early Saturday yelling at each other in Arabic. The hotel is one step above an hourly rate motel. Definitely not what I expected from a Sandman hotel.

Close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Staff was very friendly.

I thought I had booked a wheelchair accessible room as I am currently using a knee scooter after foot surgery, turns out it was a regular room which I made do with. The only “accessible” way to get in the hotel lobby was through the back door around the building from where I was told to park. The “wheelchair ramp” was at an almost 45° angle with a hanging plant in the middle of it that I had to duck around making it VERY difficult to use.
