Wallpaper peeling on wall and construction noise as well as having to pay for parking. Your argument was you don't own it but arrangements could be made that you pay them for your customers. You already arranged to have signs and a section for your guests.

The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful when we arrived. The location was convenient to areas downtown Halifax.
Negatives:
I did not enjoy the accessibility options for the hotel while it was under construction. It was a bit of a maze having to go through the mall and through another hotel entrance/exit when we wanted to explore the city. It was very inconvenient and should have been more prominently displayed to guests before booking. We also had a scheduled power outage for one of the nights we were there which also should have been notified to guests in advance or some sort of compensation for the inconvenience as the elevators were out of service and no power in the rooms for a portion of the night. I would have booked other accommodations had I known.

We arrived to check in and went through process as usual. Once paid we find out that there was a scheduled power outage beginning in 30minutes that would last the duration of the night. We were booked in 2 rooms on different floors and asked for it to be amended due to the lack of power water and the fact that some people in are party would be very uncomfortable with this and possibly become upset. We were told no and but that it shouldn’t be an issue and were offered 2 small flashlights and ignored. We proceeded to cancel the reservation.
