Bed was comfy and linens were soft, shower was awesome aswell as the towels and robe. Beautiful view.

We stayed in the queen suite at the Westin for a night out together. I ended up having a medical emergency and had to go to the QE2 very early in the morning, I contacted the hotel later that morning around 10 and asked for a later check out as once I got discharged I wanted to go atleast shower before I pack, as we live 3 1/2 hours away. When I got to my room my key didnt work so I had to go get a new one, the elevator was down and I got sent to the 7th floor multiple times then ended up taking the stairs. so by the time I got my new key and got back in my room it took some time. 5 minutes later I was just getting ready to shower and housekeeping was knocking on my door, telling me I had to go. I told her I had talked to the front desk and that I would be gone within a half hour. When I was getting dressed (literally 15 mins later) I hear a knock on the door again.. its the housekeeper. Saying I have to leave NOW. (This was only an hour past checkout time by the way..) I explained to her that I had spent my morning in the hospital and apologized. She waited outside my door until I was ready to leave so I didnt get to do my usual clean up, as a housekeeper myself I like to strip the beds, put towels in tub, collect garbage etc. but after her behaviour and feeling rushed, I didnt bother. This is the most disappointing experience Ive ever had at a hotel. Some compassion wouldve been nice.

At first glance this hotel is quite nice. Our room was clean i had to stand on A chair to open the historic lego window. I had to open the lego window because the air conditioning didnt work.
Negatives:
The bed was an old spring mattress that appeared to have had the same person sleeping in the same spot for a long time. Once you were in the groove you couldnt escape sleeping on the other side of the bed resembled the Gloucester cheese rolling competition.
