The 1000 Islands Playhouse is a 5-minute drive from the Super 8 by Wyndham Gananoque - Country Squier Resort and the 1000 Islands Skydeck is 20 minutes away. The beds were comfortable as advertised,2- queen sized. Water pressure was good. Room was clean

Tried to watch T.V. Only 8 stations, 3 of which appeared to be H.D. Good thing I brought my laptop to watch the hockey game. Free WiFi streamed well. The room HVAC unit was noisy and could not be left on to sleep. The table clock did not display the correct time and was not user friendly to change

The bathroom floor was in bad neat of sweeping and washing. The beds were too close to the walls on both beds, making them only accessible on one side.

It was just ok, but...
Positives:
The location was very good, restaurants close & the cruise meeting place only a 7min drive. Gananoque is a cute little town with more to offer than you think! The staff were friendly.
Negatives:
The hotel grounds were VERY overgrown giving you a very unsure feeling upon arrival. Our room door had problems with the locking mechanism & we were locked out even with working keys. The door had obviously been kicked in at some point & hastily repaired (I assume because of this issue). We even had similar problems with the main entrance door to our wing of the hotel. Inside the hotel hasn't aged well. The room itself was fine, comfortable bed. The jet tub was strange with what we dubbed the "car wash" setting (very aggressive jets). The location is great, but the price was high considering the state of the place. Rooms was clean, just manage your expectations.

Location was good. Staff were good until complaint made. Then nasty.
Negatives:
Room 104 .Bathroom door would not shut. Curtains could NOT be closed due to location on the wall.( Rods way too far from wall ) Could see the whole room from outside. Had to shut them in the door! Beds were SO HARD my husband took back spams all way home (7 hours driving alone for me! )HOT breakfast advertised was cold cereal and toast! You could see where they stroked Hot breakfast out on the sign but they still advertise on the website. We complained when we arrived about the beds and were told they were TOP OF THE LINE! Although we later seen newly renovated rooms we were never offered a new one. I took video instead of photos and cannot seem to load on here.

The location… staff were not bad. However the manager/owner is in the wrong business.
You should take his franchise from him.
Negatives:
The manager/owner was very arrogant and didn’t even want to try to accommodate us.
As a result we did NOT stay.
On the plus side, he did agree to provide us with a full refund.
We went next door and stayed at the Holiday Inn. We were VERY happy with the service we received from them.
From now on we will be staying at the Holiday Inns chain of Hotels.
