The room needed carpet fresheners and the toilet smelled as if it needed a good chemical cleaning as it was urine smelling. There was toilet paper on the floor as well…

We booked a queen room. It was not a standard queen being 60x75 and not 60x80. I had a significant conversation with the manager who refused to admit the advertising is untrue. We were finally moved to a room with two double beds but he insisted we pay the difference. The measurements of the second room were also not standard length for doubles. My husband and I both had to sleep on a diagonal in our separate beds as a result.
The windows weren't tinted and being at ground level, we couldn't open the curtains without others seeing in.
The carpets all needed a good cleaning.

The room was well-maintained and had a great view of the open area behind the hotel. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The location was great for our onward journey to Ottawa via Hwy 60.
