There was a loud motor noise that went on every few minutes.
I found it hard to sleep.
Also dinner in le bistro was ok.
Somewhat overpriced. Ceasar salad with lobster was a joke. measly bits of lobster and not much of a salad. Underwhelming.
My soup was very salty.

We had a guest above us herd elephants through their room at 6am. I called the front desk, but I don't believe the issue was dealt with. Our good night sleep ended at 6

I thought front desk staff could have been more welcoming. Called back to question charges on my credit card and talked to front desk staff who seemed abrupt and not very friendly. I have been in business for over 40 years and I have stayed at many hotels. I think a friendly, customer service oriented front desk staff should be expected.

Positives:
The breakfast was amazing every morning. Fresh, tasty, abundant. The restaurants were good. The decor was lovely. The gardens were well maintained. I liked that the front door automatically opened when you approached it.
Negatives:
The room's window did not open so the air was very stale with an unpleasant smell. There were no elevators which meant many trips up and down the stairs with our luggage for four people. We could not figure out how to hook our equipment up so everyone could use their computers. Somehow our phones automatically linked and therefore we could not use our computers.

Breakfast was very good & restaurant did not disappoint.

Proximity to Kingston was not great & buses only accepted cash with no change facility which was a little problematic
