When we checked into the hotel the bathtub was half full of water. The plug was in the tub and there was hair on the back of the toilet and on the floor in front of the toilet. I let them know I didn't think the room had been cleaned properly. 3 people came up from housekeeping but I let them know my husband drained the tub and got in the shower immediately when checking in as we had just come from camping for 4 days. I was told housekeeping would come back and clean the room later that night and no one came.
I was offered food vouchers for breakfast upon checking in. When I check my Cc bill I saw that the breakfast vouchers were charged to my room at the price of 60 dollars. Vouchers for the hotel shouldn't cost 60 dollars for breakfast.

Positives:
While Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale has a lot to offer, our stay was overshadowed by a frustrating issue with the deposit. Upon check-in, I was asked to tap my card twice at the front desk instead of waiting for the initial transaction to process, resulting in the deposit being charged twice. This led to an inconvenience, as I had to call the manager late at night, wait for a response, and then follow up with multiple emails even after returning back from travel, providing transaction screenshots to get the issue resolved. After this, we decided to spend the remaining 5 nights at a neighboring hotel in the area.
That said, the rooms at Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel itself is in a good location with easy access to local amenities. If not for the billing issue, it could have been a much better experience.
Negatives:
The only downside to our stay was the issue with the security deposit, which left us with mixed feelings about the hotel. Additionally, we had to pay extra for parking. Given the inconvenience, it would have been appreciated if the hotel had offered a small complimentary gesture to make up for the situation.
