The staff was their best feature. Kind, cheerful, helpful, attentive. We did really enjoy our stay and got a better room than the one we reserved. At check-in we were offered a king suite with a huge panoramic window that they had a cancellation for. We had to pay a bit more to get the upgrade but it was still about half the normal price for that suite. The view was amazing! Thanks Tey!
Negatives:
The free breakfast buffet each morning was a struggle. The hot foods were in one room, the cold foods were in another room and all the drinks were in an area in between. There was waiting at each area so it was nearly impossible to get a meal together and still have it hot.

Location ! Indoor Pool! The View from our room on the 27 floor was exceptional! I didn’t want to leave the room and could not wait to wake up in the morning to watch sunrise over the falls and fireworks at 10 pm every night! The inclined railroad is directly across the street from Embassy Suites which makes it easy to start your day and see the attractions! Breakfast was delicious and eating in the Keg restaurant was a real treat! ATM machine in lobby by the gift shop to exchange money was handy! I also liked that they held our luggage after we checked out so that we could enjoy our day!
Negatives:
The Elevators were slow because the hotel has 40 plus floors full of people! Wait time at least 15 minutes or more! Breakfast was often crowded and they did not always have the omelet station! Can’t complain about free breakfast though! The evening reception was also very crowded.i heard people complaining about the 70-100 per night parking fee— we did not use this service!

Disappointing
Positives:
Amazing location and incredible views - floor 33 with views of the Canadian and American falls. Right next to the incline railway which was really convenient for us arriving by bus. Nice food in the Keg restaurant. Big bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate sink in the bedroom.
Negatives:
No housekeeping in the room unless you stayed for 4 nights! So on the second day we had full bins, wet towels, unmade beds which was totally not what we had paid a premium rate for. The bed making arrangement did not work - flat sheet, duvet with no cover, flat sheet - and came apart as soon as you moved. This was most unhygienic as we had direct contact with the same uncovered duvet as previous guests. It also meant you had to do some full-on bed making on your holiday due to the lack of housekeeping. Constant gurgling sounds from the drain in the bathroom. Rooms a bit dated. The lifts were fine going up but long waits to get down. Cleaning the tables at breakfast involved a quick wipe down with the same damp cloth with no rinsing in between and no cleaning spray so a good way to just spread germs! The entrance to the hotel was totally geared up for people arriving by car and it was like crossing a car park to get in with no obvious crossing point for pedestrians. All in all disappointing for the very very expensive price (even before I got persuaded to upgrade).
