I stay at this property every time I visit Ottawa (several times a year). I always loved the location and being a nice walk to Byward Market.
Negatives:
I book this hotel for the location. My son is at the University in Ottawa and I have always enjoyed being a 10min car ride to visit him. However, the construction on the bridge, around the hotel, and in Ottawa has now turned that into a 30min drive. Not the fault of the hotel but it is extremely frustrating. Not to mention a festival that shut down all the streets around the hotel on the night we were arriving. We drive around for 20min and had to call the hotel twice to figure out how to navigate all the road closures & one way streets and get in the back entrance.
