The location of the hotel was excellent. The staff was courteous and helpful, so much so that the front desk upgraded our room to a larger bed and a quieter floor since I was unable to get Bonvoy points, having booked through a third party. From this point, I will always check the hotel pricing in advance. The amount we paid on booking.com was substantially higher than the hotel’s website’s price. That is somewhat embarrassing since I have a villa that is offered on Booking.com’s platform.
Negatives:
The hotel itself is very tired. The upkeep of the exterior, the elevators, the hallways and its room leaves a lot to be desired. There was a substantial amount of garbage in the parking area. Most of the furniture in the room is very worn out and has not been cleaner in quite some time. The towels had marks on them and aside from the bed, which seemed to have clean sheets, the chairs had dirt markings and spills on them. The restaurant was very expensive and the food, although attractive looking, was not extraordinary, definitely not worth the price.
