The beds are pretty uncomfortable

I love Montreal and come frequently. I like to try different places sometimes. This was on my list for a long time. Finally I went. I got a great room with a super view of the South Shore on the 22nd floor. The room was spotless. The bed was super comfortable. There were ample places to store things. The bathroom was lovely....great shower! I liked that there was water in the room as well as water downstairs free. I loved the robes....so comfy. I only encountered one staff on check-in and he was marvellous.
The pool was very different. I love that there was a cool plunging tub and a hot tub as well as a pool and sauna. There are also fabulous places to sit in the pool area.

Positives:
The location was great, walking distance to Old Montreal, Notre Dame, and a lot more great attractions. The room was huge and clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable. We were able to sleep well because it was quiet, and beds were more than enough for a family of four like us. Check-in and check-out were both fast, and they even allowed us to check in earlier than what was stated in the booking details. Parking was also very convenient for us because it is a valet only, so we do not have to find a spot. For us, it would be a hassle if we had to do it for ourselves after a long drive. You have to pay for the parking, but in my opinion, it is worth it.
Negatives:
A few amenities were missing, like slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Maybe we are just used to other hotels we previously stayed in that provide that kind of stuff. We are also expecting it from them considering the price that we paid.
