Staff was really nice and friendly. The breakfast voucher is super nice, bed and bedding were clean, nightstand with USB ports, mattress was comfy

The shower has been remade recently but there are traces of the construction all around and some stains on the bathroom walls were suspicious

The breakfast was in the restaurant next to the motel and you had your choice of complete breakfasts. It looked like the rooms had been completely renovated and the shower was quite nice.

It is close to the road and you can hear the traffic in the room, but it is not so bad you cannot sleep.

Staff were very friendly and obliging. Meals were good and well cooked. Conveniently located to Petrified Forest and Painted Desert.

The rooms were under construction and not finished. Taps were loose on the sinks, no toilet roll holder, laundry room was off limits. A lot of traffic noise and the restaurant, motel and gas station were the entire town.

Positives:
I love that the hotel was small and quaint like I would expect from an old Route 66 place, and the fact that they had swallows nesting there that weren't evicted by management was nice as well. The place was obviously in the midst of renovation but it didn't affect our stay. The restaurant was nice, especially since my son and I were able to get dinner for about $10 and because complimentary breakfast is served at the restaurant the options had a great variety.
Negatives:
The hotel has no elevator, and though I am not physically disabled, I am not the most physically capable and moving my son's and my luggage up a flight of stairs is , fortunately a nice fellow guest was sweet enough to help me out.
