This is my 2nd time booking at the same location. Beds are comfortable. This time, the room or beds did not have the odor of stale or dirty bacteria.
Negatives:
Bathtub and shower head facets are outdated. The knob on the tub spout only goes halfway up, meaning their is uneven pressure of water pressure coming out from the shower facet.
I stayed on the 2nd floor. The sliding window against the metal frame is squeaky loud. Noticed the screen was broken.

The staff was helpful and accommodating. When we couldn't get the TV to work, a desk clerk came up to our room on the 2nd floor to deliver a new remote. Twice. She was cheerful and energetic and a pleasure to meet.

Room and location were quite acceptable, breakfast was very skimpy.. only coffee, juice, cereal or a waffle (and the waffle machine did not operate properly)

I loved the remodeling job, apparently it’s a big change from a few years ago. The laminate wood type floors are much cleaner than carpet and so really like the new trend. Second motel on this trip that had them.
The amenities of breakfast cereal (Raisin Bran and bran flakes) with fresh bananas and coffee was perfect for me, my cousins loved the waffles and ate them every day!
Once I was very clear about needing the room cleaned daily they were very accommodating and I really appreciate that!
The staff was very helpful with a mistake I made on the number of nights I was staying. I was able to book it the last night and everything worked out.
I’ll look forward to staying again when I come back to visit my dear mom.

The whirlpool spa should be fixed. That would’ve been great! And pool should be clean it got up to 82 degrees.
There were a little mixups about having the room cleaned every day which was a necessity for me from preparing food and eating in the room. So, I suggest being very clear with the front desk about that.
