a nice hotel in DC
Positives:
Really nice and soft bed. Spacious room. Situated in downtown.
Negatives:
The view from room 602 sucks. The breakfast included in the booking was only available as an American breakfast. That is really not my type of breakfast and it was nothing special.. including orange juice (from container) or refill coffee. Some days we could negotiate on a cheaper (of the menu) option for breakfast we preferred, but not all staff was that flexible. Would be much better if breakfast had multipel options and was a bit more divers..

Comfortabel
Positives:
I like most of this hotel like some friendly hotel staff, the location, and the room.
Negatives:
A front desk staff member made us feel very uncomfortable. It was about 8 pm November 29th when we needed two boxes of tissues( we didn't get new boxes from housekeepers during the day in both of our rooms so we went to the front desk to ask). The staff only gave us one for two rooms and told us we could only run out of it and then come to get another one. Is it normal for two rooms to share a box of tissues??? I will never forget his arrogance and impoliteness.

Positives:
Although the hotel confirmed that were Gluten free options for breakfast there was none and had to go out to find gluten free cafes. as a result I have wasted 2 hours of my sight seeing. However thenext day the General Manager organised some bread. The morning staff at reception was not helpful at all. She was so indifferent but she offered to deduct the cost of breakfat from the room charge.

Excellent hotel for the price...
Positives:
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room was a good size and the beds comfortable. The location was only a 10 - 15 min walk from the white house, so quite a good location
Negatives:
The only criticism we had was we stayed bed and breakfast, and on the first morning, before i had finished eating the waiter told me 3 times that the tip was not included, never experienced this before.
