We loved every single thing about this hotel.
The rooms were huge, loads of different light options, small kitchenette area, massive desk area, sofa, big comfy beds, big TV.
The bathroom was big, with a well isolated toilet at one side, sink in the middle, and a big shower at the other side. Bathrobes provided.
In the hallway, there was a tap with filtered water and sparkling water, available 24/7.
I would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Washington DC.
Negatives:
To find a negative, I'd say the location (for a tourist). It is a little far from the National Mall (aprox. 30 minutes walk). Also, the water pressure could be a little stronger.

Positives:
The location of the hotel, metro, is about a 10-minute walk away. The room was clean with modern furniture and fittings.
Negatives:
The room assigned to us was not as advertised and therefore not the one we booked. It was a lower level room with a small window that overlooked dumpsters etc.
Also, the hotel deducted $350 for incidental expenses that are not included in the room rate from our MasterCard Debit Card on check-in, and 12 days later, it has not been refunded. They say they have released the monies, and it is now up to us to sort it out with our bank. It's really not good enough.
It's such a shame because overall, the hotel is okay. But based on this ongoing issue, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location and friendly staff. Spacious clean room
and since it’s a smaller sized hotel it doesn’t take a long time to wait for the lift and to be on your way.
Valet service is smooth .
Negatives:
No ramp for you to take the trolley up the stairs to access the elevator in the lobby.
Pretty much self service unless you are lucky and someone has a moment to assist you.
Coffee station in tea room are not supplied for two and was told they ran out of supply when I asked for it.
As we are paying amenity fees that should not happen.
Smell of cigarettes and etc… that permeates from other rooms ( probably that has balcony ) as I am highly allergic to them and it is highly disturbing especially if you are with children or pets.
