There was a weird grainy substance almost like sand all over the comforter
Breakfast was included which was nice I originally left a tip then a couple days later I saw that the waiter added an extra $10 on top if what I left I would recommend tipping and paying in cash if you don’t want to be surprised by staff adding their own tip.

Hotel was centrally located to our events. The room was clean and comfortable.
Negatives:
The lighting was dark in the room. The shower was terrible; difficult to stay warm with the half glass wall. Ordered room service and it never arrived. The morning staff were unprofessional.

Kimpton has lost is luster.
Positives:
The hotel staff were professional and friendly. They made me feel truly welcome. I wish I knew names but I would be writing a lot of names. My room was beautiful and clean. I love the wine reception in the evening. I ate at Les Sel and had great service and a delicious meal. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to everyone at the Kimpton Banneker for making my stay so enjoyable!
Negatives:
The only complaint I have is that the water pressure in the shower was weak. There was a pressure valve to conserve water and I just got a trickle of water so I switched it to full and I got a little more water but it wasn't enough for me.
