Convenient location, although traffic on Davis Highway is ridiculous. The staff is friendly. Willing to fix a problem when they arise.

The first room we were in was not the best I've been in, for a Red Roof Inn I expected better facilities. The toilet didn't want to flush, the bed was rock hard with springs that were extremely noisy. Three of the four pillows were super small and hard, the last one was fluffy but super small for a king bed. I'm not sure if the pillow case was stained or if it were the pillow showing through that was stained. it wasn't going to be used. There wasn't a microwave or mini fridge as I have come to expect from Red Roof Inn. We had to be switched to a different room because the AC in the first room we were given didn't work properly. It would come on for about 30 minutes then kick off and not come back on unless it was unplugged and plugged back in. I walked to the office (there isn't a phone in the rooms, not sure if that is all of the rooms but both of them I stayed in didn't have a phone) to advise them of the issue and was immediately given a new room. On my last day, I woke early to pack to get ready for check-out and the WiFi password had been changed. Normally, I would call to get the new one, I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue since it was 6 am, check-out was 5 hours away. However, with no phone in the room, I didn't bother to get the new one and packed to leave instead. The TV in the first room had obvious issues, the whole outer edge of the picture was tinted purple. In the second room, the TV was much bigger and no color problems, but it was super dark and hard to see the picture. None of the buttons on the side, meant to control the menu for the TV, worked at all. So I couldn't adjust the brightness of the picture. The bed in the second room as no better than the first, the pillows were small and flat and also hard as a rock. Even using 2 pillows it seemed as though I had no pillow. I'm glad I bring my pillow with me when I travel, if only I could bring my bed.
