We loved the placards which described the history of the school-turned-inn. It was also incredible that the doors to unoccupied rooms were open so that we could see the interior.

Usually a B&B serves you a breakfast. Here we had a continental breakfast that one receives at any chain motel. Minus the waffle maker. The tables were bare and not exactly scrubbed clean.. Very disappointed.

The location was excellent, very close to downtown and we could walk to restaurants; ride our bikes on the Centennial Trail right from there, shop, hike Tubbs Hill, etc
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was good.
Negatives:
We called beforehand to ask if there was a room to store our bikes and were told yes. When we arrived the staff were puzzled and told us to lock them up in the yard.
We were in the Accessible room which is tiny and so full of furniture that we could barely find space to open our luggage. There was no TV which we should have checked before we booked as my husband loves to watch the news everyday. Just not the best place for us!

Very good location for walking to port. Breakfast was great and we really liked the atmosphere and furnishings in the rooms as it reminded us of Europe.

Room was a bit warm for sleeping, opened window to help but could use a ceiling fan.
