The first room we got...
Positives:
we have stayed in the past as they a big parking lot from my unit. Breakfast is good but again in the building next door. It is a very quite area and the falls are right in front of building.
Negatives:
still renovating since our last stay in April so have to check in next door, room need some upgrading as I had to go shake the handle on toilet to stop it from running.

The breakfast and the staff were okay.
Negatives:
Two non-functioning door locks out of the 3 rooms that we tried. One shower didn’t work so we everyone had to come use the one in my room. One door lock malfunctioned, requiring a 30 min wait for maintenance to come fix. Should the staff see that coming and prepare the locks for winter weather?

There was no mention of the pool being closed.
If a hotel is under construction, don't keep it open to make a few bucks--close it, do the work, and then reopen.
