Positives:
The lobby was all decorated so cute. The room was good. The bed was comfortable. This is the only hotel in Cairo and considering the economic woes of this area, this is not a bad hotel. It certainly served our purposes well.
Negatives:
The exterior entrance door to the hallway within the hotel was kind of rickety and did not close all the way, which made me think it was never locked, but it was. Even though it appears not to be, you cannot open that exterior without your keycard. The pool was unusable (no water in it) It had dirty water in the very bottom.

Don't hesitate to stay here.
Positives:
Very clean, tidy and comfortable place. Friendly staff. The best Quality Inn I have ever stayed at. Well done.

Superb
Positives:
Comfortable room, bed and pillows. Decent breakfast.
Negatives:
Smoke alarm in the room went off at 1:00 a.m. apparently not connected to central alarm system. Lobby locked and no one answered my banging on the door. Hard wired so I had to disconnect from power. In the morning all I got from the staff was, Ill note it.. No apology for the inconvenience. Nothing.

Nothing?
Negatives:
This venue is past its prime. They have an AC in the hallway that you hear in Kitchen every room even ten doors down. Very very small bathroom, and there were dead bugs on the inside of the dirty window.

Very good
Positives:
The beds were comfortable and the TV channels were good
Negatives:
No service at all. No water bottles to purchase, no breakfast items (no fruits, 2 yogurt cups - only 2).
The first room we received had the beds not set. The receptionist wanted to refuse my dog as he is more than 40 lb while nothing mentions this rule. He showed it as a favor. Lobby had the worse smell

Never again
Positives:
I was allowed to pay foward some kindness to strangers.
Negatives:
The front desk clerk was unprofessinal and rude at check in. He was not empathetic to exhausted travelers even telling us he would cancel our reservation because we requested written confirmation of their procedure to ask for additional money.
Positives:
The room was clean. My wife and I stayed one night on a trip going south. The included breakfast that day was sub par but for the money it cost us it was acceptable thought the floor was wet in the bathroom. Not sure from what.
Negatives:
We decided to stay there on our reurn trip but the experience of the BKfast went south fast. There were no eggs, waffle mix came out of the machine watery and inconsistent, as if it was very old. The bisquits were old and dry. Wont go back.
Positives:
The staff was nice.
Negatives:
Please replace the bathtub so people are encouraged to use it!

Very good
Positives:
The friendly staff is awesome! I arrived around 1pm with a smile! The front desk clerk made us breakfast (they were out). The housekeeper kept things clean and tidy (HUGE plus for me). Visited with a family from WI; they had no complaints I'm aware of.
Negatives:
The bathtub/shower had been painted and is in need of refinishing or replacement.
