Negatives: I love the Thompson, but this time it did not live up to its rating: 1. They only had one lift working, which stopped working twice (that I know of), so there were no elevators for periods of time and we had to walk cause the first time it happened the cleaning staff on our floor didn’t seem to know to tell us to use the service elevator. 2. The lamp in my room was broken, but the staff hadn’t bothered to swap it out until I pointed it out. 3. I ordered room service and pointed out I was allergic to gluten so they were supposed to make the food without the fries. When it came they obviously had put fries on the plate and then realised and tried to take them off, leaving some behind, resulting in cross contamination so I couldn’t eat it. 4. Needed a wine glass and on another occasion some cutlery so called reception and they asked room service and on both occasions I ended up just going down to the restaurant and getting these as on all occasions rooms service takes at least 45mins and even with a unreliable, over used elevator, that you could wait a few times before being able to get on, I could get down and up much faster. 5. Love the fact they have Peleton’s available in the gym….however it’s clear they have had them a long time and they are I. Desperate need of maintenance; they need recalibrating, one of them you can not move the seat back or forward, they need to fix the pedals, the cages are broken and they should have cleats that allow for delta ( the peloton official bike cleats) instead of just SPD.

Negatives: Only one working elevator is ridiculous with the amount of people staying there and size of the building. It was common to hear other guests waiting 20 minutes for the elevator to arrive on the floor.

Negatives: one elevator was not working. only gave us 2 sets of towels for a reservation of 3 people. front desk staff not very friendly or welcoming. valet staff very nice. room was very small and had no refrigerator.

Negatives: N/A

Negatives: I was expecting it to be closer to Michigan Avenue, it was a 10 minutes walk everytime.

Negatives: Smell heavy smell

Negatives: The staff behavior, the difficulties to manage our stay with a 10months baby, the difficulties to get support, the dust found inside the room (not everywhere, but not few).

Negatives: Really bad experience with rude staff at front desk They did not provide the king bed that I booked and only had two beds - they referred to booking as a less important customer as I did not book directly with them Kept referring to booking. Com as third party and not the hotel Was super disappointing Value for money is really low with a bad gym and poor rooms

Negatives: No room service or breakfast on-site
