Positives:
Donovan went above and beyond to make sure my reservation went through, bc it didn't with a 3rd party, I'll never not book through Hilton again, lesson learned, bc of how accommodating he was I'll make it a point to stay here when I return to the area
Negatives:
It's getting cold in Chicago

Kirk at the front desk was nice! Accommodated us when the booking.com reservation didn't show up in the system.
Negatives:
Booking.com was slow to get back to us and long time on hold....

Positives:
The location was perfect. It sits in between alot of businesses/warehouses but nothing too concerning on the weekends. The property is very pretty and defiantly good value for the price. I paid $260 after incidentals/"deposit" which was $25 per night , absolutely perfect. The bathrooms were stunning and the bed was decent. There was a problem with Booking.com not sending the facility my reservation so I ended up paying out of pocket with the hotel and he upgraded the room to a King Suite instead of the double queen beds I booked. Definitely will be staying here again , I love the Wood Dale area , theres a lot to do. I recommend if you want a good stay without the expensive rates and 30-40 mins from Downtown Chicago.
Negatives:
There were certain rooms that were a little outdated. The elevator was definitely outdated but nothing alarming. Only complaint is there were 4 pillows for the bed (extremely comfy) but 1 out of 4 had light stains on the back kind of looking as if they tried to correct the stain but it was visible with a flashlight. Same for the towels in the bathroom. 2 sets but one body towel had stains on it like they were trying to correct it.

Positives:
Great place for a one night stay close enough to Chicago. Front desk staff was quick, efficient and helpful (and they gave me a free, fresh cookie!) Room was clean and well-ventilated.
Negatives:
The room I book advertised a porch/balcony, which the room *did* technically have, but it was facing the road and not the pool/courtyard area. Not really an issue but just wasn't ideal.

Disappointing
Positives:
Beds were comfy . The bottle of waters and cookie upon entry.
Negatives:
The hotel was so cold, we could not let the kids get in the pool .Normally indoor pools rooms are warm . The pool and the room was freezing ! I had to switch rooms because the room I was in the heat was not working and to get hot water we had to run the shower for 15 to 20 mins . When I was switched to another room we had the same problem with the heat and water problem. Maintenance had to come back and forth to my room 3 times when I was switched to get the heat working. The water problem was never fixed . The FRONT desk is friendly but not to professional when it comes to the rules and procedure. At breakfast time I called the front desk and asked them is it possible to just keep the incidental fee for breakfast he told me yes . My husband went to get the food and they was giving him a hard time they had to call managers and supervisors and I told them I literally just talked to someone at the desk and they said I could so we get the food and at end end we were trying pay . The front desk told us to go ahead they would just charge the card(we did not sit down there and eat, we went back to the room) Kids was not ready to eat yet . We came back for the kids food and the kitchen manager came out just looking at us so I asked him is everything ok ? He said no u guys can’t keep coming back . I told him I paid and my kids need to eat . Basically told me he don’t care we could have 10 kids in the room….(MY KIDS ATE) . Also, when we switched rooms I left a expensive body wash in the room and did not notice it until the next morning when I went to shower so I asked the front desk if I could check(not there) . I said did anyone turn it in? No ! So that means to me one of your housekeepers steals!!!! I’m not hard to please at all and have been to other hotels and this was by FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!
