Negatives: Everything ok

Negatives: When I checked in the first room I was given was not fit for use by any means. The fridge was unplugged and sitting in the middle of the floor in a big plastic tub defrosting the freezer. There were dirty qtips and other things on the floor. I asked for a different room, and while the fridge was plugged in it was obvious that the person/people that clean the rooms don't really care about thier job. Their was some type of gunk in the shower, the toilet wasn't clean, and the microwave was dirty. I stopped trying to pay attention after that because I desperately needed sleep. I was honestly worried about what was on the floor that I couldn't see. So I kept my shoes on the entire time. The entire room, and property is extremely dated and very much showing its age. The bathroom sink area is laughably small. Even as a solo traveler there was no room for anything. if there were two people int he room it would be hilarious where to put anything. The 'funniest' part of the room is there are outlets next to the bed - that is of course if you count a power stripe zip tied to the wall in a completely sketchy manner as outlets. I honestly laughed outloud seeing that. Nothing after that surprised me about this stay. Breakfast was a joke as well. They only hot option was waffles. No protein option (sausage links/patties/bacon? just waffles. Everything else was cold. After how my room was I just skipped it all together and checked out and went to McDonalds across the street. At least that was decent and warm. I definitely would not stay here again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Drive 10 minutes in another direction and save yourself the disappointment.

Negatives: Perhaps this is for safety reasons, but did not like that the pool was visible from the main lobby and front desk staff.
