Positives:
The hotel was in a convenient area for us to go to Starved Rock Park. It was a good price for a one night stay. The breakfast was o.k. as I don't really remember it, so it was probably just like any other hotel you stay at.
Negatives:
I don't like the configuration of the bathroom, whereas I would like a little more space on the vanity to place things. But, that is not something they could change. I can't really think of any other negative. It was just an o.k. place to stay.

Positives:
This was my second time staying at the property. The first time I came with my best friend, and the second time I came with my girlfriend both experiences were very different. The first one I had a double bed room and the room was dirty, but it wasn’t as dirty as the second time when I had the single bedroom There was dust and the tub was so filthy. We stood on towels to take our showers before we went to bed. We didn’t have the energy to wait for someone to come and clean it.
Negatives:
We are a African-American couple and the morning of our check out. We woke up to go and enjoy the continental breakfast as soon as we entered the breakfast area, there was a table of white people discussing “African-Americans” that was our last straw. We didn’t eat food. We just checked out and went home because it was weird.

Positives:
only thing I liked was the amount of parking
Negatives:
The room we stayed in was dirty. The tub was so nasty that we had to stand on towels while taking a shower because we checked in so late we were too exhausted to wait for anybody to clean. We also weren’t confident somebody would come in and actually clean. There were weird colored liquids on the wall and there was a lot of dust in the carpet just felt nasty. Plus were a African-American couple and when we came out to enjoy the continental breakfast, there was a table full of European people speaking about African-Americans pretty loudly, and that felt really weird. Also, when I was checking in, there was an another European man who literally walked out of the blue and cut me off in the middle of my sentence to ask the attendant to check the key to his room and I told him we were in the process of getting me checked in the attendant, served him and stopped dealing with me for a moment and that really turned me off towards the property.
