The breakfast is very good. Good variety and the staff is super nice and helpful in the breakfast area. The bed was comfortable and clean.
Negatives:
I'm never a big fan of giving negative reviews, but I will say that there are many hotels to choose from in Downtown Indianapolis and I feel that my money would have been better spent elsewhere. I feel like the hotel should put some money into renovations - or perhaps even just a deep clean of the carpets in the hallway. I had no hot water on the first morning and the first towel I opened was dirty (luckily the second towel was clean). It all could be chalked up to a few bad experiences clouding my view, but I just expected more given the price per night and the overall good reputation of the company. As far as hotels in Downtown Indianapolis, I would certainly research other options and stay elsewhere.

I checked out by around 10:50am and was waiting at the lobby for about 2mins. I had my bags and was waiting at the lobby figuring out my way around the city on my phone. One of the hotel staff confronted me asking why I was waiting there. It wasn't even 11am yet and I never felt welcome at the place anymore.

The carpets need replaced ASAP on 5th floor. It appears that guests have repeatedly spilled on the floor or have gotten sick all through the hallways. Was very surprised by this issue as the hotel is very beautiful otherwise.

Disgusting carpet!! We were on 7th floor. Old, outdated and stains. Leak under toilet and almost slipped getting in shower. Water all over floor and could not go in bathroom without shoes on.
We had to clean ac intake vent as dust and dirt visible!!
This property needs a total update.
