Days Inn by Wyndham Plainfield

Negatives: First, I didn't like that upon arrival I was told that a $50 damages fee would be charged to my credit card but would drop off after I check out and the room was deemed not damaged. Nowhere was this policy stated beforehand. Second, the room was not cleaned to my standards and certainly not cleaned to Wyndham standards. There was mold in the bathroom on the ceiling and wall by the tub. The floor needed to be swept and mopped. The toilet base needed to be cleaned. When I brought these things to the attention of the desk clerk when I checked out, and showed him pictures, all he said was that he would inform the manager. No apology, no urgency. We would have left and demanded a refund, but the FFA convention was in town and if you could even find a room, all the prices were at least double than normal.

Negatives: The smoke detector beeping, I asked if they could replace the battery, and he said they'd send someone, but they never came. It's no big deal, but I ended up having to disconnect smoke detector so we could sleep.

Negatives: I didn’t like the guy trying to start his scooter with a screwdriver at 0515. That was the only problem.

Negatives: Room was dirty holes in the wall big crack in the ceiling the shower curtain was about to fall off the wall the toilet seat was hanging on by one bolt

Negatives: Lack of cleanliness, no mini fridge or microwave, uncomfortable bed, gross tub

Negatives: My refrigerator didn’t work.
