Positives: Clean room, quiet, mini fridge got nice and cold.

Negatives: No elevator. This was a surprise, I think it should be made clear when booking. My husband and I are in our 70s and managed, but when I expressed surprise at check in, I got no offer of help. Also the lighting was too dim in the room. I had trouble reading a book. This did not happen in the other hotels on our trip. Facility is clean but looking shabby.

Positives: Front desk and breakfast stuff for exceptionally friendly, everything was very clean, and I had an excellent visit. I thought the price for the room was quite high, but everything else was really great.

Negatives: I paid just as much for one night at a historic hotel in downtown Des Moines the next day.
