Super 8 by Wyndham Arkansas City KS

Negatives: The beds are not at all comfortable. The towels are not big enough. And we only had 2 sets per room. That is not enough on a daily basis for 2 people in Kansas heat. The towels don’t dry fast enough to use twice in one day. Why is it a problem to get more towels? 4 sets in a room with the quality of towels should have been easy to get. And the back/side door was never locked. Anyone could come in without going through the front door.

Negatives: Bad location, with men gathered outside in groups. Security was an issue to us. We parked in the handicap but did not like going inside with these men gathered around in the parking lot on a Friday night. TV would not work. When we complained, they stated it was an easy fix and it was on when we got back to our room. It had one cartoon channel and that was was it. Remote would not work except for volume and on/off. 3 tiny pillows for a king bed. Bathroom mat had a dirty footprint on it and washcloths(2) had a yellow stain all over them. Room was suppose to be King Suite. No couch, tiny room. No elevator and carpet was old and dirty. This was a $50 hotel at best and we were charged 3 times that price.

Negatives: Bug on the bathroom floor in the middle of the night. Everything was tired and in need of replacement. Ceiling in bathroom was stained and broken.

Negatives: No elevator. The railing on the steps was broken. The shower head was in need of being cleaned or replaced. The bathroom exhaust fan was very noisy.

Negatives: Male Front desk clerk extremely rude, hot water didn’t work properly, toilet wouldn’t flush

Negatives: Many breakfast items were out. Ran out of toilet tissue and had no soap In container in tub area.

Negatives: There were no middle curtains on the window so not only could you see into the room but the night time high intensity lights from the car dealership across the street shined right into the room. Who thought stopping the curtains halfway and not covering up the whole window was a good idea..??? Had to drape the side curtains over the middle to somewhat keep eyes & light out of the room.

I did go to the desk and ask for unused items. They were "out of the products." The breakfast is a typical complimentary breakfast. There were some warm items, such as eggs, potatoes and gravy. The potatoes were cold and tasteless. The eggs and gravy were decent. King size bed was ok but needs 4 pillows, not 3.
