A dog barked all morning, starting before 7 am. It's dirty, old, smells. I complained about the dog and was told dogs can stay in any room, any floor.

I booked through Booking.com and was told there would be no charge for my dog. Was charged $75 by hotel. Blow dryer covered in sticky mess with hair sticking to it! Gross.

Hotel badly needs updating.
Positives:
Staff was friendly, room and bathroom was very spacious, kids LOVED the pool and breakfast was good

We only stayed one night on our way down to the outer banks and one night on our way back, the first stay our rooms AC was giving us trouble so it was a bit warm making it uncomfortable at night since it was 90+ degrees outside. But our second stay on our way back we had zero issues.
