Positives: Staff was super helpful as usual. It was our anniversary and the hotel was pretty empty that night so it was nice to enjoy the pool by ourselves after dinner and again in the morning. We asked the front desk if they had a microwave and the girl had one for us before we even got to the room. My wife doesn't eat dairy and the staff even had a dairy-free cookie at the front desk so we really appreciate little things like that. The bed was super comfortable and we both slept very well. It was a great trip and we look forward to our next stay.

Negatives: Only that we couldn't stay another night.

Positives: The breakfast was great but seeing as we had no water It was BROWN I felt we should get some compensation. The front desk was not helpful, said there was nothing they could do. Very frustrating!!! I booked and paid for this room way ahead of time ALMOST 400 bucks!! Which is fine if all amenities were included. Water is a basic necessity not an amenity We go to Salem every year. Will not book at Hilton doubletree. Also on a final note, The website said 6.5 miles from Salem It was 30. The breakfast and your waitstaff were terrific, But the fact that we couldn't shower and we're not comp for anything even though we put in many complaints really bothers me.

Negatives: Unclean water for starters. Also the fact that Salem was so far away and we could not get parking I did not like the fact that the staff was so dismissive about the issue of the water
