Our room was clearly one side of what must have been an original room cut in half by a false wall. 1) The people in the next room coughed all night long and it sounded like they were in bed with us. So I didn't sleep. 2) Everything in the room was TINY. Queen size bed? Yeah, right. And the bathroom sink was about a big and deep as a laptop computer. Actually, the bathroom, with an incredibly loud toilet, reminded me of an inflight restroom on a plane.

particularly appreciated the exceptional service from Caroline and the front desk staff, Salma. When I needed my dinner heated, Salma promptly arranged for a microwave in my room, which was incredibly helpful. Caroline went above and beyond just delivering the microwave, bringing me a kettle, extra herbal tea, and honey when she learned I liked something warm before bed. Her kindness truly made a difference, and her attentiveness was remarkable!

The strikes caused constant disturbance, our room was not serviced my whole stay. I was double charged at check out for the destination fee, over a week later I am still chasing my refund for this. The desk clerk was very unhelpful, was leaning over the counter and constantly yawning in my face. I was directed to the front desk director who showed no empathy, no apology for the inconvenience, I am still back and forth trying to get a resolution to their mistake, and still awaiting the refund.

Our recent stay at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza was very disappointing. To begin, the check-in process was extremely slow, with a huge line that took over 15 minutes to get through. I’ve never encountered such a wait time at any hotel before. The most troubling issue was the employee strike, which led to A LOT of noise throughout the day, starting as early as 7:30 a.m. While I understand such situations can arise, the hotel should have informed guests in advance and offered some form of accommodation or compensation for the inconvenience. They only gave us a paper about the strike during the check-in, no apologies or explanations. Many guests, myself included, found it impossible to rest or work with the constant noise. The issues extended beyond noise as well. Our room was not properly prepared, it was not as clean as expected, and basic amenities like soap were missing, which we had to request separately. This experience didn't meet the quality and comfort I usually expect from Hilton Hotels. We left the hotel feeling very disappointed and do not plan to stay here again or recommend it to others.
