Negatives: Everything was very average

Negatives: Plenty of opportunity for improvement & cleanliness. The building is old, but enough upgrades have been made that it's livable. There's only 1 set of elevators & on 2 occasions, we reached our designated floor, but the door wouldn't open. We pressed the "door open" button & it still wouldn't open. We pressed a floor number to see if that would reset the doors, but it didn't. Nor did the elevator move. After almost 3 whole minutes, the door finally opened on its own. The room, was spacious & considerably clean. However, we discovered the security lock on the room door was missing. So, we had to trust that the door was secure enough with the "automatic lock & dead bolt", the ice bucket wasn't properly emptied, sanitized, or dried out. There was almost an inch of water at the bottom & plastic wrappers from the disposable cups stuffed at the bottom in the water. The walls & baseboards in the bathroom had what appeared to be feces & blood stains, as well as layers of dust. The toilet, sink, & shower were clean enough to use, but we sanitized them again anyway with bleach wipes. The toilet flushed well, but made a very odd burping noise after each flush for about a minute or two. One of the legs of the sink/vanity was broken & we were afraid to get too close to it for it might just give way on us. The baseboards & floors throughout the room were very dusty & felt as though they don't get mopped regularly, or upon each discharge or checkout at they should be. Thankfully we pack house slippers anytime we travel so we didn't have to go barefoot or wear just socks & dirty our socks. The housekeeper, did not come in & service our room each day. By our third day we desperately needed clean & more towels & our trash was overflowing. We set the dirty towels & trash outside the door to indicate we needed service.

Negatives: The floors in the room were really greasy and slippery, not sure what is being used to clean them but perhaps should reconsider as was a bit of a health hazard

Negatives: The one elevator was not in service. It was very over priced for the accommodations. The floor that we was on smelled of weed the entire time even though it was a non smoking area.

Negatives: Could have been cleaner. Had bugs in the bathroom. 3 people per room, not enough towels or toiletries. Beds much too small and very uncomfortable.

Negatives: The shower had a hair on the wall of it when neither me or my friend had showered yet so that was a little concerning

Negatives: Bathroom door wouldn’t shut due to the room being damp and the doorframe must have been swollen from moisture, the telephone was dead, when I called they said these were maintenance issues and they were full so couldn’t switch rooms . The beds creaked terribly , every time you sat on them turned while sleeping you woke everyone up. Laminate floors were damp from all the moisture. Never again will we stay at a red roof inn plus

Negatives: A street lamp was located just above our window so a few times in the middle of the night if we woke up, we were scared we slept the day away; it was more funny than a dislike!
