Very good
Positives:
nothing
Negatives:
RUDE member of staff at the reception (Asian looking man, name to be kept private) pulled my credit card physically out of my hand without asking, touching the payment machine, and didn't even tell me the charges before which were higher than my booking total!!! I complained vocally about this behaviour, and then he started lying he had told me fees and deposit to protect his position, which wouldn't help him though if Hilton management checks CCTV, a member of staff is NEVER supposed to pull the card out of the guest's hand, that is utterly awful. When I complained he said 'we are done', basically refused to do my check-in, even though he was the person committing an offence. Needless to say, I didn't attempt to stay there anyways, but just let that behaviour sink in. That guy should be removed from his position same day!

Beware Staff is rude, lies,, can't be trusted - not a Hilton standard hotel!
Positives:
Very clean

Superb
Positives:
I suppose the room was secure.
Negatives:
I was expecting a bit morebusiness casual comfort. Hallways were cramped as is, let alone tacky furniture. Shower was fine, rooms were unremarkable and very common. The fact that paid parking and breakfast is an expectation is a bit, disarming, considering you really are not conveniently located to any major districts within the area. For an extra $15, I should have stayed on hennipen.

It Checks the box, dont expect a recharge.
Positives:
The hotel is in an excellent location near University of Minnesota. The rooms are spacious, I stayed in a junior suite. Beds are comfortable.
Negatives:
This was graduation weekend and the first weekend of the year with temperatures in the 80s. I was in the second floor and the temperature in my room never went below 80. We contacted the desk and they said they sent maintenance up and it was fixed. That night the room still was hot as heck, it was cooler outside. Went back to the desk and we were assured it would be fixed. It was not. Sleeping was very uncomfortable as a result. I expect more from a 3.5 star hotel and for the money we paid I was very disappointed. Also, the hotel does not have coffee throughout the day, though not a deal breaker, it would improve customer satisfaction. Last, the breakfast. When reviewing the hotel before booking it said buffet breakfast or order from menu. It was not free and I was fine with that, but 18.00 for cold eggs, bacon, frozen fried potatoes and oatmeal????? 2.5 star hotels have better options for free. We wanted to order off the menu so, if we were going to pay hotel prices for breakfast, we would at least get what we wanted and it would be fresh. We were told we could not order off the menu, buffet only. Just a horrible experience and I had my mom switch from the Graduate to the Garden Hilton, that was a big mistake as my Dad is 100% disable veteran on oxygen and he can not walk a mile down the street for breakfast. The parking is not convenient for ADA and it is $35 per night and you have to hope to get a spot in the garage. If you have a disability not the best hotel to stay at. I have always had phenomenal experience with Hilton and normally my go to hotel wherever I go and I travel a lot. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

Total let down and overpriced
Positives:
Location!
Negatives:
Some guests commented on the smell of weed in elevators, but I thought they were just being difficult. Well, to my surprise, the very first time I stepped into an elevator... I could smell it too. Oh well! I don't judge, but it wasn't the greatest first impression, shall we say.

Okay
Positives:
The person working the front desk when I arrived was fantastic. It was super late when I checked in and I could not figure out where to park. I called her and she talked me through it. She was also very kind.
Negatives:
The usb port on the wall did not work.

Nice pillows
Positives:
Nice room, a bit out dated but still nice.
Negatives:
Had to pay an additional 30.00 for parking. No room service (food) except at breakfast time. Had to pay extra for food delivered to hotel. After 12 hours in a hospital, not excited about that.
Positives:
Room was clean, staff was nice.
Negatives:
We paid for parking, but had to park outside 2 of the 3 nights, we were comped the cost, but it was less convenient since I had a sprained ankle. There was no dinner or bar services, which we weren't made aware of until we were there. We were told breakfast would be available, but that wasn't available Saturday or Sunday either.
