Holiday Inn St Louis Sw - Route 66

Negatives: The bathtub wasn't draining properly and the pull-out sofa bed was in dismal shape. The mattress on it was both very flat and filthy, so one of our guests just slept on the sofa.

Negatives: The property was great, but we were all so disappointed when they came for breakfast and found out out not only was it not included (like every other Holiday Inn where we’ve ever stayed), but the meals were very expensive. No breaks. We were looking for a place for them to stay a couple nights every few weeks or month or so. The family has gotten too big to stay with us. SO Disappointed that breakfast is not included or coupons for a discount aren’t given.

Negatives: Advertising leads one to believe there is a pool available. The only pool is outdoors. The kids were very disappointed!

Negatives: There were people there finishing rooms and using all their loud tools at 7AM.. no hot breakfast either.

Negatives: There facilities don’t match what booking.com promised. I specifically pick hotels with spa tubs because my wife loves fancy baths. I booked king suite room with a spa tub. I received a king suite with a shower. I attempted to remedy this situation but was met with excuses iv heard already, Rooms under construction, the 1 and only room with the spa tub is already booked, I wasn’t called ahead of time to let me know the room I wanted was not available. I was still charged the full amount because I pre paid and “there’s nothing we can do” . The lady at check out said she would put 3000 points on my account and that also never happened. Not only was it a shower, the way it’s setup the entry is away from the actual shower controls so u have no choice but to endure the cold water until it warms up. Just aggravating to spend 300$ on a room to get 150$ room rate amenity’s.
