Positives:
The historical theme and look. The water features are beautiful and very relaxing.
Negatives:
The lack of additional attractions and emptiness. The loud music from private events, while other guests such as myself self are trying to sleep.

The rich history of the property. The period architecture. The attention to detail of the restoration to the interior of the property. Absolutely amazing. We wished it was still a rail station!

Mattress was too firm for our taste.
The rooms need to be remodeled to the period of the property. Vintage pictures of trains just don’t cut it.

Our room was located at the very end of the back hallway next to the aquarium. I am handicapped and getting all the way back there was a struggle.

Beautiful historic building, light show in bar area.
Negatives:
Our room didn't look like it was ever vacuumed, beds were very uncomfortable, thermostat was on 76 when we arrived and it stayed incredibly warm all night despite changing it, woke up to a barking dog at 6am, and there was a sewer smell in many common areas and the restaurants. We had bad experiences at both restaurants on property which were dirty with long waits and poor service. Our experience last year was much better which is why we returned this year. Overall I just feel we paid a lot of money for a bad experience. Staff reached out and I told them ALL of this - no response. Very disappointing. AVOID, this is becoming a Christmas tourist trap.

We loved the lobby and nostalgia around the hotel. The staff was fantastic and friendly. I enjoyed the light show and the family friendly attractions near the hotel.
Negatives:
The area around the hotel seemed safe, but I wouldn't venture more than a few blocks from the hotel. It was great place to stay if you're seeing the Blues play though.

Terrible quality for the price. Was expecting a historical hotel. Could use a renovation. Smelled like cigarette smoke. Hotel gave us a different room than the one we booked. Not comfortable for our family. Was told by the front desk person that it wasn’t their problem. Never offered to help. I thought Hilton had better standards. Sincerely disappointed. Will not visit again.
