Stayed here for 5 nights with my family and I have to say - this is one of the best properties I have stayed at.
The location is just perfect for exploring NYC. With the Exchange Place PATH train station just downstairs, you are 1 station away from lower Manhattan (WTC). There is a tram stop right outside the hotel that takes you to Newport Center mall and Hoboken. The Paulus Hook ferry terminal is a 5 min walk allowing one to cross over to lower-Manhattan or a longer ride to the Manhattan Midtown-West terminal on 39th st (IMO, best way to get to Midtown from this hotel). Alternatively, one can just walk north/south along the waterfront; also a great route for morning runs. The area is always buzzing since office workers use it for their commute.
There are 4-5 restaurants close-by for dinner options. The hotel itself offers a sumptuous breakfast - eggs / bacon / sausages / hash-browns / bagels / fresh fruit / cornflakes / pancakes / waffles / ...
As I had booked way in advance, I got a really good deal, considering the location.
