We have stayed at this location before prior to the pandemic and it was a lovely stay including the breakfast. This trip's stay did not really meet/exceed our expectations, although the floor we stayed on 3rd appeared to be quiet.
Negatives:
This trip was not so great. We booked online through a third party and inquired about military discount which we got a response initially that it could not be managed and instructions to check in-person. When we arrived at check-in and inquired regarding the discount the gentleman at the desk said that there were no discounts!? Additionally, our check-in experience with the front desk was not to our liking and in fact lacked reception front-desk etiquette! The room we booked was a King size bed with a sofa bed and to our surprise both were uncomfortable and outdated. The sofa bed was no more than 3-4 inches thick, and it had no sheets/blankets or extra pillows to accommodate adequate sleeping arrangements. We had to phone the front desk at 9pm to request sheets, which when we dialed from the room, we repeatedly got a busy tone for several minutes. We ended up having to go down to the front lobby desk to inquire of house-keeping for sheets. When arriving at the front desk two male staffers were there on their personal mobile phones. It took roughly 15 mins for housekeeping to show up finally, after returning to the room and having to call again before they knocked on the door with sheets. Additionally, the lighting in the bathroom was dark/yellow and could be updated with LEDs to see especially while putting on your makeup! Lastly, when trying to plug in our mobile devices with the USB ports on the lamps/walls, the cord would not stay plugged in, to hold a charge. The ports were clogged with dust and worn out. Our one-night stay at this facility was not pleasing at all. We have decided the next time in the area to go down the road to the Hyatt or Marriott where there is first-class service and better upgraded equipment/furniture.
