Positives:
Breakfast was great. We are vegan so having options for us was amazing. Most places do not include those with dietary needs, but this place did. We were very surprised, and it was really appreciated it.
Negatives:
Many teenagers/young adults were staying at the hotel, they were unsupervised and extremely noisy. We heard it was a soccer team. They were above us and it sounded like they were jumping off the bed and tackling each other on the floor. The pounding and thumping went on until 2 am the first night. The second night at 11pm I went down and talked to the front desk about it. They immediately went up and talked to the kids and most of it stopped. I appreciate the front desk helping out, but hated having to complain in the first place.

The bed was pretty comfortable, and the breakfast seems to have a good variety of options.
Negatives:
The tv wasn’t working and the WiFi situation was a little odd, you have to sign up for rewards to get a lower quality WiFi and pay for decent WiFi. For the price I was expecting a little more. All the vending machines were down but they had a store down in the lobby that’s open 24/7 but a lot of the items seemed to be sitting for a while because of the dust.

Location was great. For events at the Covelli Center, the drive was less than 1 mile. Plenty of restaurants in the area. COmfortable bed. Very clean room.
Negatives:
Same thing I tell all hotels. I did not like the breakfast choices. I am lactose intolerant, and there was no plant-based milk so I could have some cereal. Come on Hampton Inn, this is 2024, plant based milk is inexpensive and widely available, there's no excuse not to have some.

Management could be better. Multiple small things that added up. Twice Saturday morning I talked to front desk about changing sheets on king bed and making up sleeper sofa or at least leave sheets for it as there were none in room. (I’d been sick and my husband was arriving that day. I wanted fresh sheets for him.). After a long day moving my daughter into her apartment we arrive to find nothing had been done in our room: no sheets, we were out of towels, and our trash was full. We were told we should have requested room to be serviced and they acted as if there was no record of my two morning conversations. On sunday the tv stopped working in the room. My husband called and six hours later still no repair. I called and suggested they just switch the tv for another. We were told first they couldn’t “find” the maintenance man, then when I called—after hearing nothing for six hours, we were told maintenance man had gone home and they couldn’t switch out a tv. They did offer to allow us to change rooms but we were tired and didn’t. Another small thing but telling: the black tea bags were out of stock in the lobby. I asked several times when they could restock especially since I knew the breakfast area had some. I was told the breakfast stock was locked up (seems odd) and even the next day they weren’t refurbished. I would think manager would just send someone to Kroger to buy some. The facility was nice. But overall there didn’t seem to be good management.

The electronic key did not work, but the staff thought to give me a card key because they said they had problems with the electronic key. I would follow up to find out why that doesn't work at this hotel.
