The staff was not all that nice. The day I arrived I was greeted by a very arrogant front desk person that wrote my room number quite terribly on a card for me. It looked like one of the 3 numbers could’ve been two different numbers so I tried to ask the person nicely what the number was again since I could fully tell. She huffed and said “can you not read” so I said “I’m sorry but that last number looked like it could’ve been either a 1 or a 7” she didn’t respond leaving me to go up and figure it out.

I liked the location and price was nice.
Negatives:
I called red roof in advance to ask if they took cash, they said yes but when I arrived refused to take cash. The mattresses were really old, I haven't sleep on springs in years and I frequent hotels. The signage for the lobby is non-existent so parking for check in was difficult at first.

Good location, and fine service
Positives:
I was going to an event at the convention centre right across the street, so that was convenient.
Negatives:
Things were a bit scuffed up: the door to my room needed a paint job and the door stopper inside was broken. Also, I was accidentally charged twice for my stay, and had to sort that out when I got home.
