Hampton Inn By Hilton Oklahoma City/Edmond

Negatives: Worst hotel stay of my life… it all started with check in, midway during my check in process another employee needed to use the computer for somthing which resulted in me and my family waiting an additional 5minutes before we could continue, I thought it was very rude. Within about 10 minutes of first getting in our room and beginning unpacking a hotel staff member walks in without knocking… good thing we weren’t changing or something… later that night when returning to our room ( on the 3rd floor) the elevator literally stops working between floor 2nd and 3rd and TRAPS us. Had to call front desk to get help which resulted in being trapped for atleast 30minutes to have the firefighters rescue us…( I have an elevator phobia already…).. once rescued and finally gone to sleep we woke up to what sounded like someone trying to break into our room. Next morning when getting ready for the day the fire alarm in the hotel went which caused us and my young daughter to panic, thankfully it went off after a couple minutes and we were able to return to our room. The manager on duty said they would comp us for our stay after the elevator trapping us, upon checking out and informing the staff of my comped stay she had no idea and the manager was not on site. I will most likely have to call and harass them to get my money back even though it should have already been done. I will never stay here again!

Negatives: Rooms lack a comfortable chair.

Negatives: First room smelled like mold. Elevator floor was dirty. lobby furniture was plastic.

Negatives: The staff kept giving me the run around. The manager Sam would not speak to me personally over the phone to tell me what she was telling another office staff to tell me.

Negatives: I slept terrible because the blackout curtains were only there for decoration (covered the wall) and only a sheer white curtain covered the window. I changed rooms because there were two lights directed at my window on the 2nd floor. I prefer a dark room to sleep in and did not have the option to pull the curtain closed.

Negatives: Computers and elevator were down. But nothing to do with staff they were very accommodating through the entire stay
