The location of the hotel was perfect. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. Independence Hall sits diagonally across the street from the hotel. From our 7th floor window we could see Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. We were able to walk to all of the historic sites and restaurants. We did have to take an UBER to the zoo and the Academy of Music. The complimentary breakfast offerings were really good and varied.
Negatives:
I didn't like the dollar limit on the complimentary breakfast. You were given a $15 dollar allowance, and anything over $15 you had to pay. I also didn't like that a gratuity was added to your breakfast bill each day. I like having the option to tip or not tip according to the service.

Ambiance and decor. Comfortable beds. Adequate closet & drawer space. Given upgraded room with view due to online snafu with Bookings.com reservation listing incorrect name.
Negatives:
Reservation could not be found at check-in. Manager stayed in back room no assistance. Front desk person insisted there was no reservation until I told him Bookings.com charged my credit card $1. Amenities were explained to other customers but not to me . Bathroom not clean: hair in tub, smelly toilet. Alerted manager via email offered no apology.
