The front desk folks were not rude but were also not very friendly. Not what I usually experience when I check into a hotel. Didn't seem to really care whether I was there or not.

The coffee/drink bar was not consistent with their hours. Twice I came down when they were supposed to be open and they were not open. Once I came down when they were setting up, and they saw me sitting at the counter and didn’t even acknowledge I was there or ask if I wanted a drink.

Positives:
The property is within walking distance to the 30th St train station (Amtrak), Reading Terminal Market, and city hall. Location is extremely convenient. The front desk staff are very polite. My room did not come with a couch, which was advertised in the booking photos. When I inquired with the staff, they immediately changed my room to my preference. Great service. The hotel is quiet, and the rooms are clean and functioning. The valet service is convenient, and the staff are nice.
Negatives:
The beds are a little tough on the back. Bring your own pillow.
