Super 8 by Wyndham Rapid City

Negatives: I had talked to like 3 people about getting out room cleaned and while we stayed it was never cleaned. The one cleaning lady thought she had cleaned the room after I had asked and never did, and told us she could clean it right then and there but we didn’t have anything to do till later that night. So we had bags and bags of trash in our room. And I had to go get towels because we ran out.

Negatives: The lady working at the front desk for morning/day. And our room TV did not work. Just to pay for our room was a run around because, I didn't have an actual "Bank card". But, I haven't seen anywhere I've read, about them NOT being able to accept prepaid debit cards. It's NEVER been a problem with any other of the MANY (20+)hotels I've stayed with, with the exact same card. So, I had to leave and track down a family member(Thankful one lived in town) to help. It all got taken care of. With the Night worker, because it took time to get it handled. And yet, still.... The NEXT day... the day worker was in and was just completely rude and acted very childish about us staying, Even though the room has already been paid for. I know because I asked. Her response, "It doesn't matter.... your debit card is still on file!" ??? But our room has been paid.(my family members Bank card was charged for 2 nights.) We only stayed one after that encounter. Because she was the one being unprofessional.... but still put on some tears and started being dramatic on the phone with someone(I assumed her boss) AFTER we just walked away, because why waste time with someone so unprofessional and acting like we were ripping off the hotel? BTW, I went to the front desk that morning to let them know we were leaving for a few hours, and I wanted to know if our TV would get fixed, or if we could get a different room, IF the TV situation was impossible. That was all. I was very polite and ADULT/Mature about it. And asking one simple question set her off. SMH. So, I will NEVER stay here again. However, my trip was last minute, which is why I ended up there. Because Rapid was super busy that weekend and the other hotels I could afford were already full.

Negatives: They were beating on the room door at 8am when checkout wasn’t until 11am. Very rude people.
