SureStay Hotel by Best Western Lenoir City

Negatives: The breakfast option was poor and the couch was horrible. You couldn't sit on it, very uncomfortable. One side looked like someone always sat there for years and won't bounce back. Need a new couch honestly.

Negatives: Door was messed up. Didn’t close properly, could see daylight through door—room number was 219. Bathroom had hair on tub and floor.

Negatives: The bathroom was horrible when you flushed the toilet the tub dripped. The towels was not clean it wasn’t the best stay and the staff wasn’t friendly.

Negatives: Breakfast had little to no variety.

Negatives: I got to the hotel and the owner inform me that the hot tub Jacuzzi didn’t work to use the restroom that evening. It would not flush so we went and told at front and she said she would tell the owner but it would be two hours. we waited two hours we could not use the restroom. He never showed up so we had to make three trips up there and then he tried to blame us for the toilet being stopped up when we never used it, he finally came in and stopped it about 12 o’clock at night never offered discount the lady at the front desk. Negatives: The cleaning staff kept trying to come into the room each morning while we were dressing. We were also told to not put the privacy tag on the door.

Negatives: I paid extra for my room to be able to PAY AT PROPERTY. When I got to the property my card had been charged for both rooms. We have had this happen before & my card declined because the expiration had expired for the card I had saved on file. They called and let me know the card declined and I told them they weren’t even supposed to be running that card bc that card was just a place holder until I got there to PAY AT PROPERTY. When I got there I asked them to never run my card again before my check in and that we paid at property because I book for myself and my 93 year old papaw who gets his own room. We pay separately upon arrival. When I got to the property yesterday we pulled our cards out to pay and they told Me that my card had been charged for the entire balance for both rooms. This was without my permission and against what they advertised and what I signed up for. I was told that during ballgame weekends they always run the cards no matter what you Sign up to do to make sure the rooms are all booked and paid for and told me that if I didn’t want to be charged for both rooms every time before I get there to pay separately then I needed to book separately with two separate cards or I needed to call and tell them to not do that the morning of check in. My concern is why am I paying extra money to be able to have a refundable pay at property room & my money is being taken before I get there for a balance I hadn’t planned on paying all of. Seems unfair and shouldn’t be allowed.Other than this, we like the location. The rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable and we haven’t had any issues.
