Best Western East El Paso Inn

Negatives: Breakfast room is extremely small. During the weekend (we arrived on a Saturday) hotel has quite few guests stating. It could not accommodate many of the guest having breakfast on Sunday morning (there are only 5 tables in the room) so my friends and I were forced to bring the food upstairs to our room. Coffee was more like colored water. When I told that to the young attendant, his answer was "thats what coffee is like" as if I was asking something extraordinary. Yet the coffee they serve it is really just colored water (see for yourself as I poured the coffee into a transparent glass to give a better idea. Looks more like tea than coffee). Finally the room came with no phone. I told the receptionist on Saturday that, he jotted down on his book. Nothing happened. I told again the same attendant (who was in the breakfast room on Saturday) about the lack of phone. He told that was serious, as no having the phone is considered a security issue (as a guest would not able to call the receptionist nor, more important, 911 if needed). Overall I was not at all impressed by this Best Western. For what they charge a night, it is definitely overpriced (considered it is outside El Paso close to Flint).

Negatives: Everything was good

Negatives: The bathroom in my room could have been a bit cleaner and better stocked. Upon check-in, I found some hair from the previous guest in my bathroom sink. When I went to shower, I discovered that instead of a small container of shampoo, there was a duplicate container of conditioner. These are small things, but they speak to the level of attention of the staff. Lastly, the motel had only one luggage cart. This became an issue when I checked out and an elderly guest checking in needed the same cart that I was using.

Negatives: The tubs could use some love

Negatives: Hot tub was cold Bathroom had some mold.

Negatives: A bit far from downtown.

Negatives: This hotel is located next to a bar/restaurant. Sometime after midnight the bar patrons started arriving back in the hallway. They were very loud, I assume from the alcohol, and they insisted on standing in the hallway giggling and talking very loudly.

Negatives: my bathroom was not cleaned, it looked like someone just missed doing the cleaning. Luckily the front desk guy helped in cleaning it as there were no cleaning crew available at night. Gym doesn't have a working water fountain or cooler.

Negatives: Not much choice of eateries nearby. A Mexican restaurant next door. For just one night it was ok.
