La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham El Paso West

Negatives: I use Wyndham as my preferred company and frequent La Quintas across the state and have come to expect certain 'givens'with La Quinta vs their budget friendly sister locations. I know I would have known if I'd done a more through look at the individual location but again I trust that with the La Quinta name I know what I'm getting and I was disappointed. For security I prefer indoor doors and instead found a large complex of all doors accessible directly from parking lot. To find myself assigned to the third floor with no elevators was a surprise. The biggest upset was the unexpected breakfast. First the only hot component was the waffle option when I had planned and looked forward to the basic of eggs and a protein. For the size of the complex and the number of potential guests, eating area was miniscule with less than 10 small tables all closely positioned. While I was glad that waffles was an option, it quickly developed a line because there were just the two machines and way to many families wanting the only hot item. Add to this the additional time since they are all individually made and that just made for a horrible experience. La Quinta is billed as midscale and I was met with the economy level I expect from Super 8 or Travel Lodge

Negatives: Clean room , better showers, Ac

Negatives: The room had issues starting with the refrigerator was broken. I told the front desk and I was told they would send maintenance to come take a look and no one never showed up. The walls were very dirty. The continental breakfast was a joke. People had to wait for stuff. No milk, no bagels, no waffle batter, no yogurt. Nothing! We had to wait for someone to get back from Walmart with supplies. That happened every day we were there. Someone spilled a cup of coffee in front of the stairs, I told the front desk and nothing was done to clean it up until hours later. Overall appearance of the hotel was dirty and I have been staying at this hotel for years when I go back to visit. Things have gotten worse at this hotel. I will definitely start staying at another hotel.

Negatives: There was human hair In the bathroom and paper trash on the floor by the front door.

Negatives: THE ROOM, THE SHOWER, AND THE DOOR KEY, DIDN'WORK WELL TO OPEN THE DOOR I HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN 2 HOURS TO OPLEN THE DOOR BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THTM (THE EMPLOYEES) THE BATERRIES AT THE DOOR WERE BAD

Negatives: Carpet floors and fabric recliner are old and dingy. Breakfast area was too small for volume of guests. Pet-friendly advertised, but no pet friendly spaces for pets outside.

Negatives: Website said it included a bottle of wine. Receptionist said it was incorrect and we can call to complain Front desk receptionist had poor customer service skills and was not bilingual. Not very friendly or welcoming Set a negative tone for the rest of the stay

Negatives: The cleanness they use too much bleach but just smells at the first just i had open the door and turn the ac in order to get the bleach smell out other than that it was everything good
