Old historical building with beautiful decor in the lobby and amenities. Good location. VERY secure, you cant use the elevator without your key. I felt safe. There was ease of use with everything being done with the website or app or etc. you barely have to interact with anyone. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! More comfortable than most hotels. The AC worked wonderfully. Shower had amazing water pressure and stayed hot. Late checkout at 12:30! I LOVED that!
Negatives:
The rooms are very dated. Carpets need replacing, room lighting needs to be redone, no dresser, no fridge, no microwave. Toilet was running at an annoying trickle, pipes make noises. The coffee maker was broken, hairdryer was broken. No airflow in the bathroom. Curtains dont fully black-out the room.

TV wasn't working and fire alarm went off, my husband 89 and had to ho down four flight of stairs with no help.

Valet parking was convenient. The coffee bar was delicious. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed comfy. All of the staff were courteous and professional.

The room was extremely dirty. Stains on the wall, dirt on the window ledges. Crumbs on the floor. Grime in the shower. I asked for a utensil and they brought up the dirtiest spoon they could've found. The room was itself also very old, nothing about it was updated. There are very simple things every hotel should have that this room was missing: tissues, functioning phone (there were two phones in the room both of which did not work), drawers for storage/clothing, soap dish to hold bar soap, and so much more. Overall I could've booked a cheaper hotel of likely higher quality.
