Staybridge Suites Plano

Negatives: only double beds in family rooms who want two beds!! extremely small bathtooms!

Negatives: I found it odd you had to walk outside to get to the indoor pool. It was rainy, but warm, so no big deal. But if it was cold and snowy (yeah, I know, it's Dallas) I'm not sure if the grandkids would want to venture out wearing swimsuits to go swimming (which they love). The pool water was warm. The area clean. Plenty of towels. Bathrooms were inside near the lobby. None in the actual pool area.

Negatives: The hotel was dated. The location was decent depending on where you need to be, everything was a minimum of 30 mins.

Negatives: Unfortunately this was the worst Hotel stay we have ever had in all our years of travel. To start off when we got to the Hotel we were on the top floor (4th), that was our request. However the elevator was out of order. There was no water pressure in the shower, the hallway and room smelled terrible. The room had a musky smoke smell and the hallways were over done with either spray or carpet freshener like they were trying to cover up a nasty odor. Come the next morning (Thursday) we went down to breakfast to only find out there was NO meat options. We talked to the girl at the front desk and she had no clue what they do for breakfast so after she spoke to the breakfast lady who didn't speak any english we were told they only have meat options on Saturday and Monday mornings. What kinda bs is that? One of the reasons we chose this Hotel was for the breakfast. There are no ice machines in property and there was never anyone at the front desk visible, we would have to holler to get them to come out to the desk from behind the wall. The phones in our room did not work. They got elevator working but come Saturday morning or wasn't working again. We have people next to us that kept slamming doors all evening and we talked to the girls at the front desk 4 times and finally it was almost 11 and I called down and the girl I spoke to had no clue what was going on because she said the other girl never said anything to her. We were highly upset at this point and so she said she would com talk to them. She did and they stopped for the evening but came the next day and evening it was the same thing over again. We asked to speak to the Manager and was told that's not an option and best they could do is give us her email when we check out and Monday morning we can email her. Definitely would NOT ever stay at this Hotel or brand again and DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!
