Positives:
The hotel appearance is nice and clean. I felt safe traveling with my kids here and resting for the night. The staff was very friendly and did accommodate my first request.
Negatives:
1) when I checked in I was booked for a room that was really hot which is no big deal I just turned on the A.C. the a.c squeaked really loud and would not stop. I requested a new room. Which the staff member accommodated me with no hesitation thankfully. (We only needed a place to lay our heads for a couple hours before hitting the road again).
2) After getting our new room key we then walked into our room and it smelled horrible like mildew. My children even made a fave when the door unlocked. We decided to brave it out we only needed 5 hours of sleep and the lady tried to help us with the first room and we aren't much of complainers. We have never had any issues at LaQuinta in the past but more than likely this will be off our list in the future. The location is convenient and the staff was nice though if you can get passed the other issues. I'm sure it's not every room though.
